In honor of Mother's Day, we invite you to the educational program "Kise."
Throughout history, human lives have been closely intertwined with cherished objects—items we didn't just use daily but kept as vessels for memories of holidays, family gatherings, and other tender moments. Crimean Tatar pouches, known as kise, are exactly that: small treasuries of memory, warmth, and tradition. They were given as wedding gifts and passed down through generations, while their embroidered ornaments carried wishes of happiness, love, and prosperity.
We invite you to discover this living heritage and create your own kise—a special gift to warm the heart.
This workshop was developed in partnership with the NGO "Alem," which focuses on the protection and promotion of the Crimean Tatar intangible cultural heritage.
