The exposition of the museum tells about the history of jeweler’s art in Ukraine from the Bronze Age till now.
Presented here are archaeological collections of precious metals and stones of the tribes and peoples that inhabited the territory of the contemporary Ukraine. A collection of Scythian gold, treasures of the Slavs, and articles of the Kievan Rus period is one of the largest and renowned in the world. The museum presents the works of the Ukrainian, Russian, and West European gold-smithery of the 15th – early 20th centuries, as well as the largest in East Europe collection of the Jewish silver cult-objects of the 18th – 20th centuries.
