About the place
VDNG stands for National Economy Achievement Exhibition. Therefore, exhibition activities are an indispensable part of the complex’ DNA.
The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the USSR of 1949 assigned the foundation of the VDNG under the name of Republican Agricultural Exhibition. Shortly before the opening in 1958, the complex was renamed as the Exhibition of the Latest Economic Achievement of Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.
As Ukraine gained independence back in 1991, VDNG got the new name – National Complex Expocenter of Ukraine.
Може не на часі, але ж перетворили територію ВДНГ у суцільну їдальню - рай для кого, думайте самі. Була з дитиною нема нічого цікавого. Особливо вразила оранжерея, вхід 150 грн.- дивитися нема чого та ще й дівчина на вході вимагала гроші за 10 річну дитину, яка просто почекала мене біля входу. Це було у березні 2024 року.
