Kyiv residents and guests of the capital are in for a true artistic sensation — the first production of Borys Lyatoshynsky’s opera "The Golden Hoop" (Zoloty Obruch), presented by the Lviv National Opera. The production was staged by a young team under the direction of the renowned director Ivan Uryvskyi.
Based on Ivan Franko’s novella "Zakhar Berkut," the opera tells a story of an unbreakable spirit, the struggle of the Tukhlya community against the Mongol invasion, and the power of unity.
