From a spark of volunteer spirit in 2014 to the unstoppable flame of a mighty force today: we invite you to our new exhibition to see how the National Guard’s steel was tempered.
National Guard members stood up for Ukraine's statehood at one of the most difficult moments in the country's modern history and valiantly continue to do so today, risking their lives every day. They hold the line on the front, ensure order in the rear, neutralize saboteurs, clear territories of mines, rescue people, and fight for every inch of their native land.
We invite you to witness how this history was made at the exhibition dedicated to the 12th anniversary of the National Guard of Ukraine. Among the heroic pages of the NGUs history are the defense of Hostomel airport, the battles for Kyiv, the defense of Sumy, Chernihiv, and Mariupol, as well as participation in the counter-offensive operations in Kharkiv and Kherson regions in 2022.
Key highlights of the exhibition include:
The "Azov" units, which played a pivotal role in stabilizing the Dobropillia direction in the Donetsk region, repelling enemy attacks and liberating eight settlements.
The "Khartiia" corps in the Kupiansk direction, which thwarted Russian breakthroughs, cut off their logistics, and restored control over several territories.
"Honor, Courage, Law" — the official motto of all National Guard warriors. This exhibition is a tribute to the brave: during the Great War, over 17,500 guardsmen received state awards, and 114 warriors were named Heroes of Ukraine.
The exposition features flags and sleeve insignia of NGU units, as well as a banner exhibition about the history, tasks, structure, international cooperation, and training of the National Guard.
Opening: March 26, 2026 (Thursday) at 2:30 PM.
