For Ukrainians, the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ has long been a special family time—a moment to gather around a shared table, greet one another, and share joy and kindness.
Easter in Ukraine is rich with ancient traditions and symbols. Vibrant pysankas (Easter eggs), the blessing of the Easter basket, hayivky (spring ritual songs), and traditional games—all these create a unique festive atmosphere that unites generations and preserves the living memory of our culture.
We will recreate this authentic spirit of an ancient Ukrainian Easter at the Open-Air Museum, set among historic cottages and churches, folk music, children's laughter, and the beauty of spring nature.
