MISTSE DIYI. LAB 207 is the second stage of the collective project MISTSE DIYI, the first stage of which was the exhibition AT ONE TABLE.
Exhibition Participants: Oleksii Ahabeihi, Rahel Gubari, Mariia Denisova, Yelyzaveta Zapnyvirenko, Ivan Zghurskyi, Oleksandra Kolesnyk, John Cuadros, Nataliia Lisova, Paul Maciejowski, Jürgen Münzer, Varvara Ostasheva, Miriam Pajakowski, Yuliia Popika, Luiza Timirhaleieva, Asia Yakovleva.
MISTSE DIYI. LAB 207 brings together works by participants of the open call "Lab 207. Open Workshop"—young artists under 25 years old—as well as Ukrainian and German artists from the international residency Spiegel Hand.
The exhibition also presents the Nahirna 22 website, which documents the activities of the art community of the same name and independent artistic initiatives.
"Lab 207. Open Workshop" is a self-organized artistic practice environment operating at the Kyiv Institute of Automation.
Participants work in a shared studio space alongside artists, curators, and participants of the international Spiegel Hand residency.
The creation of works, discussions, lectures, and workshops form a single process where artistic practice simultaneously serves as a form of alternative education.
The project received support within the framework of the Resilience Fund program from the Goethe-Institut in Ukraine.
For the fourth consecutive year, this program continues to support cultural and educational institutions, as well as civic organizations demonstrating exceptional resilience amid full-scale Russian aggression.
The project is implemented in cooperation with Goethe-Institut Ukraine.
