World ambassadors of Ukrainian culture "DakhaBrakha" will perform in 8 cities across Ukraine with their album "Ptakh"

This autumn, DakhaBrakha is embarking on a tour across Ukrainian cities with their new album Ptakh (Bird). Alongside new songs, the concerts will feature well-known tracks that have already won fans from Glastonbury to New York. The tour will span eight cities in the country, culminating in two performances in the capital on October 17 and 18 at 6:00 PM on the ICCUA stage. Tickets for the shows are selling out very quickly, so those interested should hurry!

The Ptakh record is the band's first release in the last 5 years. The album includes 14 tracks recorded in Kyiv at the Kaska studio under the direction of Lesyk Omodada ("Pyrih i Batikh"). The collection serves as an emotional chronicle of the transformations of Ukrainian life—from ritual songs to the rhythmic focus track "Trypillian Techno" and a collaboration with writer Serhiy Zhadan. The visual symbol of the release is the cover art by band member Marko Halanevych, where the Bird personifies freedom and the inevitable return home.

"This collection includes compositions created at different times and under various circumstances. The album is stylistically and generically motley, perhaps even a bit chaotic. But chaos as the foundational principle for the birth of something new has never scared us. We believe this music will become an inspiration for some, a hope or a space for reflection for others," the members of DakhaBrakha note.

The band's distinctive style originated in Vladyslav Troitskyi's directorial experiments at the Dakh Theatre. Today, DakhaBrakha continues to combine the dramaturgy of performances with its own visual and musical language, familiar to listeners in every corner of the world.

The band consistently supports the Ukrainian military. At foreign concerts, musicians regularly hold charity auctions selling Marko Halanevych's paintings, and 100% of the profits from the entire Ukrainian tour are traditionally donated to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Since 2022, all DakhaBrakha performances in Ukraine have had a clear charitable purpose: 100% of ticket sales profits are transferred to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
