What to Do in Kyiv This Weekend (July 24–26): Festivals, Concerts, Lectures & Traditional Gatherings
The last weekend of July in Kyiv is packed with exciting events. From the Iskra Electronic Music Festival and concerts by ONUKA, KADNAY, and Liza Bibikova to a memorial concert for Mykhailo Klymenko, music pop-ups, lectures, and cultural festivals—there’s something for everyone. Here are the events worth leaving home for on July 24–26.
Iskra Electronic Music Festival
The Dovzhenko Film Studio will host the three-day Iskra Festival of Electronic Music and Art, celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. The lineup features 31 Ukrainian and international artists, showcasing a wide range of contemporary electronic music.
For the first time in Ukraine, the festival will welcome Dj Fart In The Club and Konduku (Germany), Dj Rino (Belgium), and Moopie (Australia). Other international acts include Danny Daze, Nene H, Nosedrip, Andrew James Gustav, Yazzus, and Acronym. The Ukrainian lineup features Amir, Oleh, Anastasia Slutska, Ezzeo, Gapon, Kirill Nilsson, and Tofu Dj.

ONUKA Live
ONUKA will perform a special rave-inspired live show at De, Shcho, Inshe, featuring a more electronic and dance-oriented sound.
Led by singer-songwriter Nata Zhyzhchenko, ONUKA was recently named one of the 15 most influential Ukrainian artists of the past 15 years by the YUNA Music Awards.
The setlist will include fan favorites from previous albums alongside tracks from the band's upcoming album, scheduled for release this autumn. Audiences will also hear several songs performed live before their official release.

"Adam. A Memorial Concert"
De, Shcho, Inshe will host the first memorial concert dedicated to Mykhailo Klymenko, frontman of the band Adam. The event will take place just a few days after July 20, the date on which the musician would have celebrated his 39th birthday.
More than 15 Ukrainian artists will perform Adam's songs in their own interpretations, including KOLA, Maryna Krut, Dantes, Lely45, Ziferblat, Schmalgauzen, Parfeniuk, Brykulets, Latexfauna, Tember Blanche, Helia Zozulia, Vivienne Mort, Yevhen Halych, Nazva, Wellboy, Volodymyr Shumko, and Lera Mandziuk.

Adam: The Grand Memorial Concert
pomitni Music Pop-Up
The pomitni label is organizing a two-day pop-up event at Bursa, combining live music, theatre, film, lectures, and public discussions.
Day one includes the Trojan Women performance by NASHi Theatre, a screening of the music film Kneecap, a lecture by NOIRE Media, a public talk hosted by pomitni, and acoustic performances by Artistka Chuprynenko, Oi FUSK, and Ya Tonya.
On the second day, electronic sets by Anna Odyn and Serge Jazzmate will take over.

Ukrainian Wine Festival
The Bessarabsky Market will host the Ukrainian Wine Festival, taking place over two weekends: July 25–26 and August 1–2.
Visitors can sample dozens of Ukrainian wines, enjoy artisan cheeses, attend tastings, and listen to live music. The festival runs across four days in total.

KADNAY Concert
KADNAY will present a special extended live show at De, Shcho, Inshe, accompanied by a full concert band.
The group features vocalist and guitarist Dmytro Kadnai, vocalist and keyboardist Pylyp Kolyadenko, and bassist Denys Korkin.
The program includes hits such as "Vidpusty," "The Scent of Your Hair," "MaHat Mahat," "KrapkaKoma," "Body," "Disco Girl," and "Beat of the Universe," all reimagined with fresh live arrangements.

Anime Without Borders Festival
The Anime Without Borders festival comes to DREAM, celebrating Japanese pop culture, anime, manga, cosplay, and contemporary Asian music.
Visitors can explore an anime and comics market, themed art exhibitions, interactive zones, and photo installations. The program also features cosplay shows, K-pop cover dance performances, contests, and giveaways.
Guests are encouraged to attend dressed as their favorite characters.

Festival "Anime without Borders"
Liza Bibikova Concert
Liza Bibikova will give her only solo concert of the summer at Kureni Concert Hall.
The performance will feature songs including "Why Do I Always Love You?", "Beside You," and "Kyiv – New York," as well as her latest single "Catamaran," released in June.
The audience will also hear several brand-new songs performed live for the very first time.

Charity Run "Bigozbir. Heat"
Run Ukraine launches a new season of its charity running initiative "Bigozbir. Heat."
For every kilometer completed by registered participants, partners will donate UAH 10 toward charity.
The goal is to raise UAH 7.5 million for five initiatives supporting hearing restoration, rehabilitation and prosthetics for wounded soldiers, electronic warfare equipment, and autonomous power supplies for Ukrainian Armed Forces units.
Kilometers logged between July 22 and October 10–11 will count toward the campaign, culminating in the Kyiv Marathon of Unbreakability 2026.

"World Hits" Rooftop Concert
On the rooftop terrace of Gulliver, GosOrchestra will perform nearly 20 iconic songs in symphonic arrangements.
The program features classics such as Europe's "The Final Countdown," Bon Jovi's "It's My Life," Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance," and George Michael's "Careless Whisper."
The audience is encouraged to sing along with the orchestra.

World Hits Performed by an Orchestra on the Gulliver Terrace
Lecture: "How Naples Undresses… From the Renaissance to Paolo Sorrentino"
Plato's Cave will host a lecture exploring the relationship between Renaissance art and the cinematic language of Paolo Sorrentino.
The discussion will examine how the Renaissance transformed the European worldview, with perspective, light, the human body, and emotional expression becoming essential artistic tools.
Special attention will be given to depictions of Rome and Naples in The Great Beauty and Parthenope, as well as Renaissance influences in contemporary Italian cinema.
The lecture will be presented by Bohdana Nosenok, PhD in Philosophy and cultural studies scholar, who specializes in culture and translates literary and academic texts from English, French, and Italian.
The event is available both in person and via Zoom, with a recording provided afterward.

Lecture "How Naples Undresses... From the Renaissance to Paolo Sorrentino"
Makovii Traditional Gathering
KultMotyv will host Makovii Traditional Gathering, celebrating Ukrainian folk culture, music, and communal singing.
The program opens with a lecture-quiz by Vytoky. Guide, followed by group singing with Melos Folk, traditional music by BEMT, folk dancing with Khrushchi, and a performance by Millnyk.
Guests can also join a workshop on weaving traditional Makoviichyk bouquets by Oberemok, browse a mini-market, and taste shulyky, a traditional Ukrainian festive dessert.

Ivo Bobul Concert
Legendary Ukrainian singer Ivo Bobul will perform at Feels Garden.
Known as the "Golden Voice of Ukraine," Bobul will perform his best-loved songs, including "The Well of Souls," "The Shore of Love," and "Autumn Garden."
The evening will feature both lyrical ballads and the timeless hits that have defined his decades-long career.
