About event

"Our Vector: Talent Shattered by War…" This is how the parents of the fallen Hero, Vira and Volodymyr Lytvynenko, remember their son.

Vladyslav Lytvynenko, callsign "Vector," was a volunteer and scout within the Special Operations Regiment "Azov." He gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine, becoming one of those who secured the country's future at the cost of his own life.

The exhibition of Vladyslav Lytvynenko's works tells the story of an ordinary young man who dreamed, created, and made grand plans. He deeply loved his family and adored his home cities of Mariupol and Kyiv. He was passionate about sports, overcoming fears and life's challenges. He dreamed of traveling the world but wanted to live only in Ukraine.

While studying interior design in Kyiv with promising prospects, he chose the path of a defender of the Motherland. Vladyslav learned to paint, play the guitar, and loved chess — he was a multifaceted, creative, and radiant person.

After his passing, his parents took up brushes and paints to preserve the memory of their son through art, reflecting his life, dreams, and inner world.

The exhibition consists of two parts:

  • Part One: The Hero's story, featuring personal belongings illustrating Vladyslav's hobbies and interests, alongside his own artworks.

  • Part Two: Works by his parents, who use art to tell the story of their son.

We invite you to visit the exhibition in Hall №23 of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine. Additionally, Vladyslav's personal items are featured in the "Azovstal: New Meanings" exhibition on the museum's fourth floor.

  • Opening: March 26, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

  • Admission to the opening is free.

  • Inquiries: (044) 278-48-64 or 093 855 61 16 (Viber & Telegram).
