For April 11–12, Kyiv has prepared a насыщенная and diverse program: from a major pop concert and a punk show to an Easter market, a public talk, and exhibition projects. All of this comes together into a lineup that includes both lively events and options for a more relaxed pace.

We’ve gathered the most interesting events for the upcoming weekend to make it easier for you to plan your route around the city.

Nataliia Mohylevska Concert

The anniversary concert of Nataliia Mohylevska, which became a major event last year, returns in the format of two encore performances at the “Ukraine” Palace. This is a great option for those who didn’t make it last time or want to hear the artist’s biggest hits once again.

The organizers promise a familiar масштаб: the best songs, large-scale performances, dancing, and the same energy that defines Mohylevska’s live shows.

Paska Club

Garage will host the Paska Club Easter market for the third time, focused on gastronomy, local brands, and decor. The event looks like a ready-made route for those who want both to taste traditional Easter cakes and find decorations for the праздничный table.

The market will feature Easter offerings from 30 bakeries, including Bakehouse, Honey, “Zavertailo,” Milk Bar, “Marchuk Khlib,” 100 Rokiv Tomu, Make My Cake, Cheesecake Family, “Ministry of Desserts,” and “Franyk.” There will also be instant photos, a test drive of a new MINI car, bouquets and Easter decor by Mutabor Flower Service, textiles, candles and egg stickers by Hey Guide, a kids’ zone, coffee by Yellow Place, and wine by Sabotage.

Exhibition “Black Pain”

The National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine is hosting the exhibition “Black Pain,” dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster. The exhibition brings together works by Ukrainian artists created in different periods but united by the common theme of Chornobyl. The central piece is the tapestry “Black Pain,” based on a sketch by Oleh Mashkevych. The exhibition also features works by Maria Prymachenko, including a series from 1986–1988 with the artist’s texts, the triptych “And There Will Be a Day…” by Liudmyla Zhohol, as well as ceramic sculptures by Oleksandr Milovzorov, hot enamel works by Vitalii Khomenko, and wooden sculptures by Oleh Petukhov.

Kureni launches a new season of parties. On Friday evening, KINREE and DJ Kon’ will perform, and the format of the event is built not only around music but also around the space itself, which at Kureni always plays as big a role as the lineup.

“Listening with Tychyna”

At book.ua space at VDNG, “Listening with Tychyna” will take place — a comedic public talk about animal adoption, where the moderator’s role will be given to a dog named Tychyna.

Larisa Khapuha and Lana Chubakha will discuss the painful issues surrounding stray animals, which myths prevent change, what systemic solutions can work for the city, including the example of the AdoptMe Days adoption festival, as well as international experience. The event is pet-friendly, and donations for veterinary and evacuation missions will enter participants into a raffle for a book from book.ua space, merch from animalism.shop, and other gifts.

The Museum of Theatre, Music and Cinema Arts of Ukraine is hosting the exhibition “Beads of Fate,” which in a short time has brought together over 60 participants: artists, collage-makers, craftswomen, poets, writers, performers, singers, and musicians.

The project is structured as a journey through beauty, femininity, and strength of spirit, where each work becomes part of a large symbolic necklace. A special emphasis is placed on the combination of tradition and modernity, personal stories and collective experience, as well as the role of women in the cultural space and volunteer initiatives.
