Art is inextricably linked to the time in which it is created. It evolves with humanity, reacting to events and transforming its visual language. The title "1499" is not a random number; it represents the exact count of days since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. From that moment on, Dmytro Kryshovsky has named his exhibitions after these numerical markers of time.
Most of the works were created from 2022 to the present, alongside earlier pieces. This dialogue between different periods allows visitors to compare the artist's visual language and meanings before and after the turning point. In this contrast, the transformation of images and the intensity of inner tension are felt most profoundly.
