Add to calendarOn April 17, Stretovych Agency presents a grand literary evening featuring Oksana Zabuzhko and Vira Aheieva.
Join us for an exclusive discussion and literary readings centered on "Fieldwork in Ukrainian Sex"—Oksana Zabuzhko’s landmark novel, now translated into 23 languages, which redefined modern Ukrainian literature.
For the first time, we will explore the social traumas exposed by "Fieldwork" in the mid-1990s and their evolution 30 years later. We will also examine the global context: why this book remains the most translated work in post-Shevchenko Ukrainian literature and how "global sex studies" reflect a broader civilizational crisis.
Oksana Zabuzhko — acclaimed novelist, poet, and essayist with works published in over 20 countries.
Vira Aheieva — literary scholar, professor at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and co-host of the "Shaleni Avtor(k)y" YouTube channel.
Moderator: Svitlana Stretovych, founder of Stretovych Agency.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU). We look forward to seeing you there!
