Add to calendarThe Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine oversees over 56,000 archaeological and applied art objects made of precious metals and stones. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we were forced to dismantle our permanent exhibition to protect the artifacts. Since May 2022, the museum has been operating through temporary exhibitions, currently featuring four.
During the tour, you will be able to see Scythian and Greco-Scythian art, original works of Ukrainian goldsmithing, a collection of Crimean Tatar jewelry and household items, as well as ancient Greek, Roman, late Scythian, Sarmatian, Hunnic, and Gothic artifacts. These items returned to Ukraine after 10 years of legal battles over ownership between Ukraine and museums located in Russian-controlled territory.
The tour will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026. It begins at 4:00 PM. The cost is 250 UAH; for pensioners, students, and schoolchildren, it is 150 UAH (no additional entrance fee for the museum or the Lavra).
