About event

To mark the 280th anniversary of the birth of Spanish artist Francisco Goya, the Khanenko Museum presents the famous series of etchings "Disparates" (Los Disparates) for the first time in Ukraine.

The exhibition consists of three interconnected parts:

  • Goya's original works;

  • A 23-meter mural by the Kharkiv children's art studio Aza Nizi Maza, where Goya's series is reimagined as a dream about the coming-of-age of a fictional teenager, Franciska Talan;

  • Textual reflections by contemporary female authors, created as part of an open call.

The exposition will span four halls of the Khanenko Museum and will run from April 3 to July 26, 2026.
