The National Museum of Art named after Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko is an art museum in Kiev, the most outstanding collection of foreign art objects in Ukraine.
The museum preserves a valuable collection of paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, and items of applied art of the countries of Western Europe and East dating from the ancient times till the 19th century. The permanent exposition also displays a unique collection of Byzantine encaustic icons of the 6th-7th centuries. Today the museum collection includes more then 20,000 works of art.
