"JYTTIA Kvitka" is a personal exhibition by Ukrainian architect and designer Nataliia Gogoleva, running from August 19 to 30, 2026, at the National Taras Shevchenko Museum.
"JYTTIA Kvitka" is a manifesto. It is life that finds the strength to blossom even after the hardest trials. Through original works inspired by Ukrainian decorative tradition and reinterpreted through a contemporary artistic language, the exhibition explores themes of inner strength, the reimagining of murals in interiors, and rebirth through architectural space.
The exhibition will feature 10 paintings in the Petrykivka style, proposed as decor for various interior spaces. Petrykivka painting is an example of how everyday life can become art. Its history originates from ancient wall painting used to decorate houses in the village of Petrykivka, Dnipropetrovsk region.
