The "On the Waves of Classics" concert, performed by Brass Ukraine, will present renowned masterpieces of European music through the vibrant sound of brass instruments.
The program brings together Samuel Scheidt's solemn Suite, George Frideric Handel's famous "Water Music" suite inspired by the water element, as well as the most beloved works of Johann Sebastian Bach—the universal symbol of peace and light, "Jesus bleibet meine Freude," and "Zion hört die Wächter singen," one of the composer's most recognizable and popular Baroque melodies.
The program also features the brilliant "Alleluja" from Mozart’s motet "Exsultate, jubilate," filled with joy and virtuosity, as well as Gabriel Fauré’s delicate and melancholic Pavane. A special highlight of the evening will be the witty composition "Dixie Bach," where the music of the great Baroque master appears from an unexpected jazz perspective.
Artistic narration by Oleksandr Rudko will complement the musical program, creating an atmosphere of a thoughtful and inspired evening.
