Michael is a chef who is used to finding pleasure in the simple things: good food, aromas, wine, and casual encounters. Susan is an epidemiologist who is used to looking for logical explanations where others see chaos. Their meeting was supposed to be just a casual one-night story. But gradually, genuine feelings develop between them.
Meanwhile, the world is facing a strange epidemic. People begin to lose their sense of smell, one after another. Then—taste. Soon the disease spreads further, taking away other human senses.
Susan and her colleagues try to understand the nature of the illness, but none of the known theories provide an answer. Humanity is gradually changing, and with it, the ordinary lives of the characters are changing as well.
For Michael, his profession loses its meaning. For Susan, the search for a cure becomes a personal struggle. And for both of them, a question remains that becomes increasingly important:
what will happen to love when a person begins to lose the ability to feel the world?
The play contains scenes of a sexual nature, nudity/intimate content, and profanity. 16+.
