Play, [Mark]

"Play, [Mark]" is a new biographical musical from the creators of the MTR creative association, dedicated to the prominent Ukrainian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and public figure Yevhen Chykalenko.

Yevhen Chykalenko was a man who invested his own funds into the development of the Ukrainian language, press, education, and the support of writers (notably Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky) even before the appearance of an independent state.

The title of the production comes from Chykalenko's favorite saying: "And you, Mark, play. Play as hard as you can, and after us—let others play..."
