Add to calendarAn embroidered shirt (vyshyvanka) is much more than just a piece of clothing. It is our armor, our prayer etched into ornaments. It is a quiet "I am Ukrainian" that today resonates loudly throughout the entire world.
This year, we celebrate a significant milestone — 20 years since a simple student initiative transformed into a global movement, uniting millions of hearts across the planet.
We invite you on May 21st to a place where every inch of earth breathes history — our Open-Air Museum. It is here, amidst century-old cottages and authentic landscapes, that the vyshyvanka looks most natural, as if returning to its original source.
We want the museum grounds to bloom with thousands of patterns, so we have prepared a special gift for you: ADMISSION IS FREE for everyone who visits the museum wearing a vyshyvanka, an embroidered shirt or dress, or a traditional folk costume.
Gather your family, call your friends, and bring out your shirts — whether they are ancient heirlooms from your grandmother or modern designer pieces. Let this Vyshyvanka Day become a manifesto of our beauty and unbreakable identity.
We are waiting for you to create history together for future generations.
