Yevhen Leshchenko 'Painting. Graphics'

The artist works primarily in the suburbs of Kryvyi Rih. His works are housed in museum, corporate, and private collections in Ukraine, European countries, Asia, and the United States of America.

Characteristic features of the artist's individual style include vibrant color palettes, fantastic imagery, symbolism, and a striving for a philosophical understanding of the world. Art critics later characterized the direction formed by Leshchenko as "paradise art," highlighting it as a distinctive phenomenon of contemporary art.

Concurrently, the artist actively works in the field of graphics: creating drawings, watercolors, pastels, and mixed-media works. A significant portion of his graphic heritage consists of nature studies, vegetables, fruits, as well as unique visual diaries that reflect the author's observations, reflections, and creative explorations.

Alongside monumental canvases, the artist creates intimate compositions that, in their imagery, resemble fables, parables, or philosophical meditations. His work combines figurative and abstract forms, reminiscences of Ukrainian folklore, contemporary philosophical thought, and reimagined spiritual traditions from various cultures around the world.
