On March 9 at 5:00 PM, the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko will host the opening of the anniversary exhibition by Anatoliy Marchuk, titled "Earthly Bonds with the Heavenly."
A dedicated section of the exposition will feature the artist's "Shevchenkiana" series. The exhibition will run until April 5, 2026.
Anatoliy Marchuk is a People's Artist of Ukraine, Merited Artist of Ukraine, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, a philanthropist, and a volunteer. This year marks a significant milestone for the artist: he celebrates 50 years of creative activity and his 70th birthday.
The retrospective will showcase his artistic evolution through several key series:
"A Glimpse Through the Centuries"
"Shrines of Kyiv"
"In the Footsteps of Taras"
"Flowers of Ukraine — Flowers of Victory"
"Earthly Bonds with the Heavenly"
