Add to calendarThe Liatoshynsky Capella is no stranger to the creative legacy of Maksym Berezovsky and Dmytro Bortniansky. The ensemble's musicians regularly participate in artistic projects aimed at researching, reviving, and performing the works of these composers, collaborating with organizations and cultural initiators whose goal is to uncover lesser-known pages of Ukrainian musical history.
All of this will resonate inside St. Andrew's Church — a contemporary architectural masterpiece of the program's musical era. Rastrelli finished building it in the early 1760s, just as both composers were beginning their Italian journeys. This concert is an opportunity for modern listeners to discover new facets of Ukraine's musical heritage and hear works by the composers who shaped the Ukrainian presence in the European cultural space.
