A Satchel of Memories

The "Fiddler on the Roof" Gallery invites you on September 24 at 6:00 PM to the opening of Oleksandra Korol's exhibition "A Satchel of Memories."

Every life has its own set of belongings. Not necessarily valuable. Not necessarily conspicuous. Yet together, they form a recognizable world.

Oleksandra Korol gathers these worlds in miniature—composed of interiors, figures, objects, and details, each seemingly left behind for a reason.

Her works are not merely meant to be looked at, but read. And the longer you gaze at them, the harder it is to tell: is this already someone else's story, or one we have just invented ourselves?
