Faces of Freedom: KNUBA Figures in the History of Ukraine

Near the main building of KNUBA, the exhibition "Faces of Freedom: KNUBA Figures in the History of Ukraine" has opened, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's independence. The exposition highlights figures and events associated with the university who have left a notable mark on the history of Ukrainian statehood and the struggle for freedom.

The history of KNUBA is inextricably linked with the history of Ukraine in the 20th and 21st centuries. The heroes of the exhibition represent different generations of the university community, yet they are all united by a striving for freedom, the preservation of Ukrainian identity, and the development of the state.

The exposition covers ten figures and events that build a historical line from the era of the Ukrainian Revolution to the modern Russian-Ukrainian war.

The figures featured in the exhibition served Ukraine in various ways: they established statehood, preserved cultural and architectural heritage, developed national art, resisted political repression, and took up arms to defend the country. Together, they form a cohesive narrative connecting the Ukrainian Revolution, the Sixtiers movement, the restoration of independence, and the modern struggle for freedom.

Each display stand includes a QR code, allowing visitors to access expanded project materials on the university's website.
