A ride on a unique retro tram, styled after historic Kyiv trams of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, running through Podil, Kurenivka, and Priorka.
The first electric tram in our region began operation on June 13, 1892, on present-day Volodymyrskyi Slope. The line was later extended to Podil and Pechersk, and twenty years later, the tram network covered almost all of Kyiv and its suburbs.
You will travel along a section of Kyiv's oldest surviving tram route—from Kontraktova Square to Taras Shevchenko Square and back. Feel like a passenger of the very first electric transport, discover its history, and hear about the interesting sights you'll encounter along the way.
