How to get acquainted with classical music and how to listen to it? In this course you will overcome the stereotype that classical music is only for aesthetes, and you will start listening to it from the first lecture. And so that your interest does not turn out to be just an impulse that quickly fades away and grows into a serious hobby - teachers will teach you special techniques and techniques.
Everyone listens to music, but not everyone hears it. This maxim of the well-known musicologist Borys Asafyev acquires a new meaning, because today it is not just about music, but about music: academic, mass, folk, modern, past, acoustic, electronic, etc. Each historical epoch has its own music and its own musical heroes who lived and worked in completely different social and cultural conditions. And what about musical genres, styles, trends, which also can not be counted? Is it true that modern music is always something complicated, and learning its meaning is quite difficult? How can you listen to the music of another, non-European culture?
We are looking for answers to these and other questions during 10 online meetings. Their goal is to actively listen to and discuss the peculiarities of art-historical epochs, musical styles and genres in which cult composers composed music in the period from the 17th to the 20th century.
