Historical Picnic "Serge Lifar: Famous and Unknown"

We invite you this Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 15:00 to a historical picnic dedicated to the world-famous Kyivite Serge Lifar, whose name, unfortunately, is not known to many Ukrainians. During the picnic, we will talk about:

• How and where his childhood and youth were spent in Kyiv;

• How he began practicing classical dance at the age of 16;

• The story of his escape from Kyiv to Paris;

• What his creative path was like;

• Why he is called the man who brought male dance back to the stage and what his contribution to world choreography is.
