We invite you to the interactive tour "Crimean Tatar Wedding – A Celebration of Traditions" as part of the "MİRAS. Heritage" exhibition.

A Crimean Tatar proverb says: "Qoranта – bahtnın’ anahtarı," which means: "Family is the key to happiness." A Crimean Tatar wedding is a large-scale celebration, a solemn and grand conclusion to a long process of negotiations and agreements between families, resulting in the creation of a new home. Every stage of this event is a treasure trove of traditions passed down through generations.

We offer you a romantic journey to a free and flourishing Crimea, where you can immerse yourself in the unique culture of the indigenous people of Ukraine – the Crimean Tatars. During this journey, you will learn not only about the incredibly vibrant yet delicate and modest wedding rites and traditions of the Crimean Tatar people but also how to express your feelings for a loved one through the Örnek ornament. We look forward to seeing you!

The tour will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Starting at 1:00 PM. Participation fee: 300 UAH.
