February in Kyiv is traditionally packed with events — from concerts and stand-ups to festivals, markets, and exhibitions. In this selection, we have gathered the key events of the month: musical evenings for Valentine’s Day, charity events, underground shows, and cultural formats for different moods and groups.

The Lavra Gallery hosts a large-scale solo exhibition by one of Ukraine’s most famous contemporary sculptors — Anatoliy Kushch. The exhibition features over 200 works, some of which are being shown to the public for the first time.
Anatoliy Kushch is well-known to Kyiv residents and beyond as the author of key city symbols: the Independence Monument on Maidan, the sculptural composition "Founders of Kyiv," and the monument to Archangel Michael. In his work, the artist focuses on the human being — aiming to restore a sense of wholeness, harmony, and fullness of life, building a dialogue between the natural and the supernatural, the human and the superhuman.
"Paradigm of Harmony" demonstrates the scale of Kushch’s thinking and his place not only in the Ukrainian but also in the broader European artistic context.

On Valentine’s Day, Proklyatyi Kh*yi is holding a major solo concert at the Small Opera. The "Kings of Podil underground" promise a dense set, new tracks, old hits, and star collaborations — without compromises or embellishments.
According to the band’s frontman Slava Kedr, this is a truly important event for the team: they have not had major solo concerts before. The program includes presentations of new material (and not only in one sense), the opportunity to purchase exclusive merch, and surprises that the organizers prefer not to disclose in advance. Possible guests include Dantes and others.
The format is simple and straightforward: come not alone, give a ticket to someone you love, and spend February 14 in a crowd of like-minded people for whom this concert is the best alternative to the classic Valentine’s Day.
