Imagine if Google Maps suddenly routed you… to 11th-century Kyiv! Instead of cars — horses! Instead of shopping malls — the bustling Podil district. And instead of phone notifications — news delivered by princely messengers.

That is exactly the journey we will take at the next "StoriYa: Story Chest" book club meeting at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.

Together, we will read the book "The Middle Ages: A Day in Princely Kyiv" and find out:

• What was Kyiv like in the Middle Ages?
• How did the princes and their warriors (druzhyna) live?
• Which landmarks from those times can still be seen today?
• Why was Podil a hub for trade, and who traveled here from around the world?

Plus, we’ll play a fun game: "Guess the Profession of Kyivan Rus"!
