Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Kreisler by Candlelight

We invite you to a cozy evening of chamber music in the atmospheric acoustic hall of the historic St. Catherine's Church, located in the very heart of Kyiv.

Featuring Antonii Kedrovskyi (violin) and Paola Prokopenko (piano), this program explores the evolution of violin and piano repertoire across centuries.

• J. S. BACH: Violin Sonata in B minor, BWV 1014 — a masterpiece of polyphonic depth and dramatic tension.

• W. A. MOZART: Violin Sonata in E minor, K. 304 — one of Mozart’s few minor-key works, blending intense expression with classical clarity.

• F. SCHUBERT: Grand Duo for Violin and Piano, D. 574 — a lyrical, large-scale work with a symphonic sweep.

• F. KREISLER: "Three Old Viennese Dances" (Liebesfreud, Liebesleid, Schön Rosmarin) — virtuoso miniatures capturing the charm of old Vienna.
