The beginning of July in Kyiv promises to be both loud and touching. The capital will host a MONATIK concert with an album presentation at the Ukrainian House, a jazz jam at the National Circus featuring LATEXFAUNA and DANTES, open-air performances by CHEEV, LELY45, and MÉLOVIN, and a set by German electronic musician SCHILLER at “V’YAVA”. At Protasiv Yar — a three-day festival in memory of Roman and Vasyl Ratushnyi; at the Small Gallery of Mystetskyi Arsenal — an exhibition about life during war; and at the VDNG — a pet adoption festival.

On July 4, MONATIK will perform at the Ukrainian House with the concert “The Forever Dancing Man” — the second of four planned shows this year. The artist will present the eponymous album as a theatrical performance: each floor of the venue will become part of a musical story.

On July 6, CHEEV — the artist behind the songs “Harnо tak”, “Rana”, and “Mriyeshsya” — will perform at “V’YAVA” at VDNG. He will play favorite hits and present a new track, “Raz u zhytti”.
The evening promises to be intimate, heartfelt, and musically rich.

On July 5, one of the largest events by the FUSION JAMS jazz community will take place at the Kyiv Circus. The arena will feature Ukrainian hits performed in jazz and alternative styles, with circus acts between sets.
LATEXFAUNA, DANTES, BRYKULETS, Hyphen Dash, Yevhenii Dubovyk Project, BITLO, Aesthetic Combination, and others are already confirmed. Organizers also promise surprise guests.

On July 5, German electronic musician SCHILLER (Christopher von Deylen) will perform his first set in Kyiv’s cultural space “V’YAVA”. Known for his cinematic sound and collaborations with Mike Oldfield, Sarah Brightman, and Nadia Ali, he will present an exclusive Hybrid DJ Set with enhanced sound and a light show by APLAY.
He will be joined by DJ VOTUMA and Ukrainian electronic artists.

On July 4, LELY45 — a singer dubbed the voice of contemporary Ukrainian indie — will perform at “V’YAVA”. Her songs “Moya dusha” and “Visim” have made it into the top 20 of the global Shazam chart, and her concerts regularly sell out.
This time she’ll perform hits like “Sprobuy kupy mene”, “Kozhen dаst meni svoye im’ya”, “Na lyustri”, as well as new unreleased tracks.

On July 6, MÉLOVIN will give his only major concert of the summer at the KURENI concert venue.
The evening will feature familiar hits like “Tormoz chy na haz”, “Obyratymu sebe”, “Vitryla”, “Odyn ne odyn”, as well as English-language tracks and new material.
Expect live sound, an open-air atmosphere, and musical surprises.

Once again, the meadow at Protasiv Yar will host a festival in memory of Roman Ratushnyi — a civic activist and scout of the 93rd “Kholodnyi Yar” Brigade. The event is being held for the third time and will run for three days — from July 4 to 6.
The program includes concerts (featuring Aziza Eskendera, Vivienne Mort, Irma Vitovska), poetry readings, lectures, discussions, and children’s activities.
This year, the festival will also honor the memory of Roman’s brother, Vasyl Ratushnyi, who died on the front lines in February.

On July 5 and 6, the VDNG will host the AdoptMe Days pet adoption festival. Over two days, dozens of dogs and cats from shelters in the Kyiv region will be looking for new homes.
The event is organized by Gostomel Shelter and Pethouse, who invite everyone to meet the animals, talk to volunteers, and possibly find a future furry friend.

The Small Gallery of Mystetskyi Arsenal will open the exhibition “There Was Time, and Now There’s Not” by artist Olia Yeriemieieva. The display is based on the artist’s personal archive, created over several years of full-scale war. It includes photos of friends, the queer community, everyday life, parties, the silence between shellings, and paintings about loss.
The exhibition is divided into two spaces: the first is a frozen room with albums and photos, and the second is a painterly dialogue about what disappears but doesn’t let go.

Exhibition "There was a time, and there is no more"
On July 7, Oleksii Horbunov will host a creative evening in the format of an intimate acoustic gathering for 200 guests.
The renowned actor and musician will perform poetry, old songs, and heartfelt compositions accompanied by a live band. The performance will include music from childhood and youth that has shaped generations.

Creative evening of Alexey Gorbunov
From July 4 to 6, Shevchenko Park will host a handmade and craft goods fair. Folk artisans, cheesemakers, winemakers, honey producers, and makers of accessories, clothing, toys, and decor from across Ukraine will gather here.
Visitors can enjoy a food court and a wide variety of crafts — from embroidered shirts and jewelry to artisanal liqueurs, sweets, and wooden items.
