This weekend, Kyiv residents can look forward to a rich cultural program: concerts, stand-up shows, and festivals. From October 11 to 13, the capital offers numerous opportunities for leisure—ranging from cozy acoustic concerts and dance performances to lively stand-ups and captivating cultural events.
On October 11, the cultural space V’YAVA invites you to a concert by KRUT, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of her playing the bandura.
Marina Krut is a Ukrainian singer, composer, and bandura player who, since the autumn of 2004, has not only mastered the instrument but also transformed its perception, making the bandura a part of the modern music scene. Over the past two decades, KRUT’s bandura has evolved from a historical instrument to a contemporary voice of the nation. It has been played on the front lines, in hospitals, in shelters, at international festivals, in the Scottish Parliament, and at official events worldwide. Marina's music has become a symbol of Ukraine's national identity, shaped by changes and challenges from the Revolution of Dignity to the full-scale war.
At this special concert, KRUT will present both her best tracks and new compositions, alongside invited musicians and guests.

To commemorate the birthday of the outstanding Ukrainian artist and curator Oleksandr Roitburd, the Vakulenko Art Consulting gallery has organized an exhibition of his works from private collections dedicated to women. In his works, Roitburd boldly experimented with the theme of femininity, seeking new ways to reflect it.
“I am not satisfied with the predetermined bodily structure, and I constantly try to overcome and refute it,” said the artist.
He aimed to challenge conventional anatomical boundaries, creating metamorphoses of bodies: they merge, multiply, and grow through one another to reveal the depth of the plastic idea and reflect emotional tension.

Maklena Hranza performance based on the play by Mykola Kulish, is an atmospheric noir-style performance with elements of detective and unexpected plot twists that will transport the audience into the grim world of interpersonal conflicts amid a social crisis.
It is a story about how small mistakes by individuals can lead to a great tragedy for all, how populism and blind faith in miracles seize the mind, and how many try to shift responsibility for their lives onto others or, conversely, take control of someone else's fate. Ultimately, it is a story about the place of humanism and love in a world mired in permissiveness and the hopelessness of postmodernism.
