Maclain Gras Performance

The "Maklena Grasa" play, based on the work of Mykola Kulish, will take place at the Small Dramatic Theatre in Kyiv. At first glance, this is a story of despair and hopelessness: the factory has gone bankrupt, the workers are left without means of existence, the bank has collapsed, the wedding is canceled, and there is no hope. However, even in this dark world, there remains room for choice and the manifestation of humanity. The last thing the crafty factory manager Zbrozhek is willing to do is stage his own murder to collect insurance money. But will Maklena Grasa, the daughter of an unemployed worker who was ready to sell herself on the street to feed her family, go along with this plan?
