“In the Radiance of Faith and Beauty” Exhibition

The Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine has opened the exhibition of sacred art monuments "In the Radiance of Faith and Beauty," dedicated to the 975th anniversary of the founding of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. It presents selected monuments of sacred art from the museum's collection, including icons and embroidery.

The center of the exposition is the 19th-century icon "The Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos," as well as two icons of "The Most Holy Theotokos with Venerable Anthony and Theodosius of Pechersk."

Among the works presented at the exhibition, visitors can also see embroidered sacred art monuments from the museum's collection, notably two 17th-century embroidered cruciform chalice veils.
