Portal
Instant physical relocation from one place to another is a favorite idea for futurists. The invention of the portal will forever change the concept of "space-time", and the fastest plane will be perceived as a suburban shuttle bus. The visualization of the portal between Kyiv and Kharkiv is a long-standing issue for the artist, and this work is the first step into this topic. The choice of Shevchenko Boulevard in Kyiv and Armenia Street in Kharkiv was made to shift attention from the city center to industrial and uptown areas for potential development of the vacant land-plots.
