Monument to Prince Svyatoslav is located on the territory of IAPM (Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.) Established in 2003 in honor of Svyatoslav Igorevich prince of the times of Kievan Rus. The authors of the work are sculptors Oles Sidoruk and Boris Krylov.
Svyatoslav Igorevich or Svyatoslav the Brave - Grand Duke of Kiev (title of the ruler of Kievan Rus) 945 - 972х. The son of Prince Igor the Old (Igor Rurikovich) and Princess Olga. From 945 to 964, the management of Kievan Rus was dealt with by his mother, was a regent (a man who temporarily rules instead of a monarch) an underage prince. Svyatoslav conducted an active foreign policy and became famous as a commander. The first Prince of Kiev, whose existence, as well as about Olga, is noted by various sources, including foreign ones. For example, the existence of his predecessor, Prince Igor the Old, the ruler of Kievan Rus 912 - 945x years, is known only for the "Tale of Bygone Years."
