Ice Land in Sofiivska Borshchahivka
An open-air ice rink with unlimited skating to music — a great option for those who want to spend the whole evening on the ice. You can hire an instructor or a skating aid, and after skating — warm up with mulled wine. There is a large food court on the premises offering meat dishes, fish, and sweets.

“Cosmic Ice Rink” at Respublika Park Mall
This is an ice rink covering 1,800 m² with decorations in the style of a spaceship. Here you can choose the type of skates — figure or hockey — and book an instructor or skating assistant. Nearby there is a food court, a mulled wine bar, and photo zones.

“Crystal Ice Rink” near River Mall
On the embankment near River Mall, a bright ice rink has opened with a crystal-shaped Christmas tree and an area of over 1,600 m². The space is decorated in a white festive style; nearby are a food court, an activity zone, and a lounge with lanterns. Instructors and skating assistants are available.
Several food courts are located next to the rink within the winter village area. Here you can enjoy seafood, meat and vegetable dishes, burgers, chebureks, desserts, and various treats. Mulled wine and non-alcoholic hot drinks are also available.

“Imaginary Ice Rink” at Kontraktova Square
This is a city open-air ice rink with unlimited skating and a nearby fair. The location is inspired by the legend of the Imaginary Spirit — the guardian of fairs and winter holidays of Podil in the 17th–19th centuries.
The ice rink operates during power outages, but in case of an air raid alert, the session is postponed to another time or day. If needed, you can rent a seal-shaped skating aid.
Prices: 300–400 UAH depending on the time; free entry for combat veterans.

Ice Queen at Blockbuster Mall
One of the largest open-air ice rinks in the capital — over 3,200 m² of ice. This allows visitors to be accommodated comfortably and ensures a cozy experience for the whole family.
Inside there is a Christmas tree; around it — lanterns; nearby — a warm pavilion for relaxation and a food court. The space is suitable for family leisure and long evening skating sessions.

Ice Rink at Dream Town Mall
One of Kyiv’s largest and most convenient ice rinks operates at Dream Town Mall. It was built using modern technologies, so the ice here is stable and suitable both for confident skating and first attempts.
The rink area is nearly 1,200 m²: there is enough space not to interfere with each other even during peak hours. Up to 120 people can skate on the ice at the same time, making it comfortable for both beginners and experienced skaters.

Ice Rink at VDNG (Expo Center of Ukraine)
This winter, the largest ice rink in Kyiv with an area of 3,000 m² will once again operate at VDNG. It is traditionally set up on the central square of the complex — with prepared ice, festive lighting, and a true winter atmosphere.
The VDNG ice rink has long been a meeting place: families skate here, couples come for dates, and groups of friends gather. Nearby, food courts with hot drinks and seasonal dishes are open, so skating can easily be combined with a walk around the area.
In the 2025–2026 season, the ice rink will open on November 29 and operate until February 22.

Fifty Ice Arena at Cosmo Multimall
Fifty Ice is an ultra-modern ice rink with neon lighting that stands out not only for its design but also for its approach to skating. Perfectly smooth ice, high-quality skates, and support figures for children and beginners make the space comfortable for everyone — from first steps on the ice to confident laps.
In the evening hours, the rink transforms into a neon arena with a special atmosphere: lights, music, and movement create a club-style skating experience. Instructors are available if needed.
Fifty Ice is also suitable for celebrations, including birthdays. Cosmo Cafe operates nearby, where you can relax after skating.

“Kryzhynka” Ice Rink
The oldest ice rink in the capital (over 25 years old), where professional figure skaters train, is called “Kryzhynka” and is located within Victory Park. Athletes hone new skills here on weekdays, while regular visitors can skate on weekends.
“Kryzhynka” is not the best option for beginners, as this rink has no side boards. However, you can sign up for figure skating classes — professional coaches will teach you all the nuances.
You don’t need to bring your own skates from home. You can rent them with a passport deposit.

Ice & Lights Ice Rink at the Platforma Art Factory
Near the Platforma Art Factory, the IceLights ice rink is once again open — a space for winter walks, laughter, and new memories. Families skate here, fall and get back up, meet friends, and simply spend time on the ice without rushing.
The ice rink is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Unlimited skating is available; skates in sizes from 25 to 47 are offered for rent. Entry is free for children under 4 years old. Discounts also apply: 20% for family members of combat participants, 30% for pensioners, people with disabilities, and large families, and 40% for military personnel. For those just learning to stay on the ice, a skating aid figure can be rented for 300 UAH per hour.
