On February 3 at 5:00 PM, the National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery" will open the exhibition "People / People / Adamianebi" by the Georgian-Ukrainian artist Temo Svirely.
The exposition features works from various periods of his career: from pieces painted in the 1990s following the war in Georgia, to the "People" series created during the last year of Svirely’s life, at the onset of Russia's war against Ukraine in 2014.
Temo Svirely believed that it was impossible to create form without love. His art became a reflection of his interaction with the world and the diverse aspects of existence. Drawing inspiration from his surroundings, the artist spoke through the language of art about the transience of life, tragic and happy moments, and dreams for the future—all with gentle humor, luminous sadness, humanity, and love.
