From February 5 to February 27, the White World Contemporary Art Center (CSM "Bilyi Svit") will host an exhibition of objects, paintings, and graphics by Polina Verbytska. Across two exhibition halls, viewers will find a reflection of the artist’s meditations on the loneliness within oneself and the attempts to peer inside another.
Polina Verbytska’s hyper-realistic objects made of silicone, wax, and plaster, alongside her oil paintings and graphics, are designed to convey the contrast between the surface — a metaphor for the physicality that reliably separates people — and the inner space, which remains vulnerable and defenseless.
