The "Pre-Christian Beliefs of Ukraine" exhibition explores the origins of religious ideas, sacred sites, and ancient rituals related to birth, marriage, and death. It offers a rare glimpse into how our ancestors perceived the world and their place in the universe.
The exhibition features over 500 original archaeological artifacts:
An ornamented mammoth shoulder blade;
Trypillian figurines and "binocular-shaped" vessels;
A Scythian bronze finial featuring the god Papaios;
Jewelry of a Scythian noblewoman from the Melitopol kurgan;
A "calendar" jar from the Chernyakhiv culture and exquisite ancient Greek ceramics.
