This program combines the structural perfection of BACH with the colorful theatricality of VIVALDI. The concert opens with the Third Brandenburg Concerto, full of vital energy and contrapuntal dynamics of nine string voices. The Trio Concerto in D minor continues Bach’s line, but shifts the emphasis to brilliance and a harmonious dialogue between the soloists.
The second part of the concert — VIVALDI’s “The Seasons” — creates a baroque contrast of emotions and images: from spring clarity to winter severity. Each of the four soloists presents their own interpretation of these famous concertos, and the harpsichord adds stylistic authenticity and warmth to the ensemble sound.
The concert promises to be a delight for the listener — both as an example of the perfect Baroque style and as a living story about the cyclical nature and musical feelings.
ATTENTION! The entrance and travel to the Church of St. Catherine (22 Lyuteranska Street) is carried out exclusively from the side of Khreshchatyk Street.
