“Asia rocks and will keep rocking for a long time” — said Roman Tugashev, founder of Kyiv festivals Ulichnaya Eda, White Nights, and the BUHTA Food Station project, in an interview. We absolutely agree with him and have prepared a list of the coolest Asian cuisine spots in Kyiv for you.
Spicy NoSpicy — a pan-Asian restaurant by the Rose Family. To open it, the team set off on a journey through Eastern countries. Here, spices are not just ingredients — they are a whole philosophy. In the dining hall, there’s a symbolic “wall of 52 spices” because in Asia, people believe that food and spices affect not just taste, but a person’s state and the surrounding atmosphere.
The search for balance and harmony is felt in every detail. New flavors are combined with beloved dishes: from Peking duck and nasi goreng to Korean kimbaps, “lazy sushi”, and the Dog Roll. Spiciness here is always balanced with tenderness, and the cuisine is complemented by signature cocktails that reflect the restaurant’s concept.
At the heart of the space is a large bar. Its menu combines Asian and local ingredients. It also serves as a stage for charity guest bartenders and live music evenings — from hang and piano sets to ethnic DJ sessions.
Spicy NoSpicy is not only about cuisine, but also about experience, atmosphere, and sensation. A place where the familiar intertwines with the new, and an evening turns into a story.

The interior is modern with traditional Japanese touches — wooden elements, a red-and-black color scheme, and an open kitchen. Menya Musashi is a place to grab a quick, delicious, and atmospheric bite, especially if you’re a Japanese food fan.

Of course, we couldn’t overlook the restaurant curated by Hector Jimenez-Bravo himself. The talented chef took traditional Vietnamese dishes, reimagined them, and presented them in a new way. What will NĂM surprise you with? Exotic appetizers wrapped in lolot leaves, unique sauces with distinctive flavors and recipes, fantastic mousse desserts, and, of course, traditional chicken pho.
And that’s not even mentioning the stunning interior and the vibrant parties featuring celebrities and top bartenders.
Another cool Asian cuisine spot is located next to the cozy Blur coffee shop near Klovska metro station. The place resembles a kind of Berlin jungle, complete with a hip-hop soundtrack. What to eat here: traditional Asian satay skewers, of course wok rice, ramen (available with vegan broth), bowls, and Asian-style meat. As for appetizers, we recommend edamame beans and kimchi (spicy fermented cabbage).
“Chinese Hello” is a small spot focused on Chinese street food. The food is prepared quickly and served in a convenient takeout format, but there are a few seats available to eat on site.
The menu features popular Asian classics: fried noodles, rice with toppings, bao with meat or vegetables, and crispy spring rolls. Favorites often include sweet and sour chicken, beef in a spicy sauce, or lighter vegetarian options with tofu and vegetables.

It’s no surprise that both locals and tourists from Vietnam and beyond choose this spot to enjoy pho, nem (spring rolls), or fresh spring rolls.

The restaurant's interior has received international acclaim — the Dezeen Awards 2021 for Best Interior. The space is conceptual and atmospheric: a combination of minimalism, natural materials, and subdued lighting creates the perfect setting for dinner or meetings.
A distinctive feature of the venue is its open kitchen, where guests can watch the preparation of dishes in real time. This enhances the sense of completeness and adds an interactive element to the gastronomic experience.
