The group project WEIRDSCAPE II will run in the large and small halls of the Imagine Point gallery.
The exposition features works by artists selected by the gallery's curatorial team through an open call announced in March 2026.
The project's title is a neologism combining "weird" and "scape" (in the sense of escape or landscape/space).
Its core idea has brought together works in which the authors reformat objective reality and instead model their own, featuring an original imagery system within alternative existential-aesthetic dimensions.
Therefore, the exposition showcases multi-media works by contemporary artists that reflect illogical, non-linear, absurd, and paradoxical situations and states, populated by bizarre, fantastic characters, and warped, distorted objects. Alternatively, you will find entirely real figures placed in unusual surroundings, immersed in atypical planes of existence beyond the control of reason.
This exhibition is the second stage of the major WEIRDSCAPE project, launched in August – September 2025, when the exposition featured pieces from the gallery's collection. Subsequent stages will involve deepening the concept with unexpected details and, accordingly, expanding the circle of participants.
The exhibition will run from October 2 to October 31, 2026.
