Tour "In the Footsteps of Lazarus: Real and Fantastical Kyiv"

On September 20, a themed tour titled "In the Footsteps of Lazarus: Real and Fantastical Kyiv" will take place in Kyiv, guided by writer Svitlana Taratorina — the author of the novel Lazarus.

The route is inspired by the book and combines historical facts with literary imagery. Participants will walk through the streets where early 20th-century Kyiv blends reality with fantasy. During the walk, you’ll learn what the city council looked like a hundred years ago, what fashions young ladies wore, and what people ordered at the Semadeni restaurant on Khreshchatyk. The tour includes a climb to Lypky and ends near the Arsenal.
