The Blue Up Cinema Club was created at the Cinema Panorama to showcase the best films in world cinema. We took Donnesmark, Dresen into our satellites. Coens, Fassbinder, Lynch, Almodovar, Trier and all those who were not afraid to live without stereotypes, did not want to work with stamped subjects, who were not crushed by the production press and the need to please everyone in a row.
The film club was named after the famous film by Michelangelo Antonio, awarded the Cannes IFF Main Prize in 1967, as it expresses the essence of the work of the film club.
Our goal was to introduce viewers to real cinema. For them to see how they can rejoice in cognition, to discover the freedom to express their own thoughts, and most importantly - to know that art experiments are not a punishable crime and that art is the only territory in the world where one can live without fear and afford ALL .
For known reasons, we moved our film club to the Art Center. Kozlovsky. It is warm and cozy. In addition, it is located a block away from Kinopanoram, on Khreshchatyk 50-b, it is important for regular members of the Blue Up. We believe that the Cinema Club will once again be reborn in the home walls of Cinema Panorama, while we wait for you every Sunday at 13-00.
