The National Museum of Literature of Ukraine invites you to "Lace Poetry of the Soul," a solo exhibition of paper-cut painting (vytynanka) by folk artist Anzhela Yurkivska.
Anzhela Yurkivska is a master folk artist, a member of the International Organization of Folk Art, the creator of a unique multi-layered paper-cutting technique, and the head of the "Impresa-Art" fine arts studio.
The artist began creating her first multi-layered vytynankas in 2015 in Mariupol. The recognition of her composition "The Pysanka Rolled Through the Universe" in 2019 became a vital milestone for the further development of this style. In 2024, Anzhela Yurkivska set a record by recreating Alla Horska’s famous mosaic "Blooming Ukraine" in the form of a paper-cut. Her work has been repeatedly honored at both national and international competitions.
Each of the artist's works embodies the strength of Ukrainian lineage, loyalty to traditions, inner resilience, and love for Ukraine. This is art that speaks the language of light, memory, and dignity.
We invite you to experience this delicate, profound, and truly living art. The exhibition will be on display throughout January and February 2026.
