The Kyiv City Center for Folk Art and Culturological Research (KCCFACR) of the Department of Culture (Kyiv City State Administration), in collaboration with the Kyiv House of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, presents an exhibition by leading KCCFACR artist and Shevchenko National Prize laureate, Andriy Yermolenko: "Our Bloom Across the Globe."
Andriy Yermolenko’s exhibition, "Our Bloom Across the Globe," is a powerful artistic project that reimagines the image of the Ukrainian diaspora through the lens of modern graphic design and cultural diplomacy.
Each artwork is dedicated to a specific country or city. The author masterfully blends Ukraine’s national symbols with the visual identities of various European nations. In this series, the artist explores the theme of Ukrainians living in Europe who remain an inseparable part of our cultural code.
Andriy Yermolenko has created a unique visual language where each city or country appears as a living organism, adorned in traditional Ukrainian ornamental attire ("ostriy").
